Opened in September 17th, 2017, the Cheongsapo Stepping Stone Observatory begins from Mipo to the middle of Donghae Nambu Line abandoned building site. The Cheongsapo Stepping Stone Observatory rises 20 meters high from sea level and reaches 72.5 meters long towards the sea with the width of 3 to 11.5 meters. At the end of the observatory, visitors may walk on the transparent half-moon shaped glass plane, making them pleasantly nervous as they walk watching the waves crashing beneath them. The five half-submerged rocks evenly placed as stepping stones and the Cheongsapo diverse marine environment feature outstanding views of the sunrise and the sunset.
